Latest Spindle Document Management release introduces Purchase Invoice Recognition compatibility

The latest major release of our partners at Draycir’s ever popular Spindle Document Management solution for Sage 200cloud is now available and introduces several important new features and updates to the system.

Both the Document Distribution and the Document Capture elements of the software are enhanced and improved by the release but possibly the most interesting development is in relation to Draycir’s new Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition software which is now made fully compatible with Spindle Document Capture.

Powered by advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology Spindle Purchase Invoice Recognition allows Sage 200 users to capture incoming purchase invoices, scan the digital documents (emailed or scanned for example) and extract relevant invoice data before importing to and matching at line level within their 200 system. This intelligent and highly accurate document recognition technology works to automate purchase invoice processing and, after a line-item matching verification process, posts invoice data directly into Sage 200cloud. This automation instantly reduces processing costs, saves time and minimises human error.

Of course, this is all in addition to the business advantages of the core Document Capture system which supports efficient administration, simple storage and easy access to your business documentation within Sage 200cloud.
