DCS are going Live…

Announcement: Sage Live to be added to DCS Solutions’ systems portfolio.

Sage-Live-LogoThose who keep their ear to the ground within the business technology world (don’t chuckle, they do exist) will know that our partners at Sage have been making a lot of noise recently about their new collaboration with Salesforce and the Sage Live solution that has emerged as a result of the tie up with the US CRM giant.

Sage Live is the UK-based software developer’s first foray into a dedicated cloud accounting system for small and medium businesses – although the cloud version of the on premise 200 system, Sage 200 Extra Online, has been available for a while now – and it’s also the first Sage product built on the Salesforce platform. A couple of good reasons then for Sage to be getting quite excited about the product.

Sage Live screensOver the last couple of years or so, as both a Sage partner and an SME technology specialist, we have of course monitored the development of the Sage Live solution (actually from the very first days when it was even known by a different name, Sage Life) and have maintained discussions with Sage about adoption of the product.

The addition of any product to our portfolio of business solutions is never a decision we take lightly so our review process when it came to Sage Live has been exhaustive and has included assessment of the product’s existing  functionality, its roadmap and the resources required internally to build up a consultancy and support unit within DCS.

We’re now pleased to announce that 2018 will see us ‘onboard’ as a Sage Live partner with several members of the DCS team already into the advanced stages of accreditation.

Although, in business software terms, Live is a product still very much in its infancy, we believe that functionality introduced so far, combined with it’s unique position as a dedicated cloud accounting solution built on the industry-leading Salesforce platform, is now advanced enough for the product to represent a more than capable cloud finance solution.

With further features and functionality set to be introduced around sales, operations and production, and with the huge development resources being poured into the Sage Live solution currently, we’re excited to see the product continue to evolve into the powerful next generation business management solution it promises to be.

If you’d like to begin your review of Sage Live then get in touch with DCS today!
