Free Office 365 Threat Report, in partnership with Barracuda

The DCS security series running over the coming months is focused on helping businesses understand security risks, demystify cyber security and identifying positive steps that can be taken to protect from harmful threats.

A 2019 Ipsos MORI poll identified that 80% of respondents consider security critical to their business although 30% acknowledged they knew nothing or not very much about cyber security.  This lack of knowledge is significant if it means you are unable to identify risk to your business, especially when 70% of data loss is due to accidental or malicious activity performed by people.

To assess risk in your business consider where data is stored and the mechanisms in place to protect it.  As businesses migrate their email to Office 365, are you able to make the right security decisions for your business? Many public sector and larger supply-chain contracts are now mandating that businesses can demonstrate that they are protecting data sufficiently.
