This year DCS are hosting a number of exciting charity events and initiatives to show our support to two amazing local charities.
DCS ramblers ditch the office for the outdoors
For a real test of physical and mental endurance, a group of 15 brave DCS staff are facing a life altering challenge! The group have volunteered to climb the three highest peaks in Britain in just 24 hours to raise money for our nominated charity, Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Some of the team have already started training, Rob Bradburn, CRM Developer for DCS has some training underway with regular trekking in the peak district battling blazing windy weather.
He said: “In truth, I am preparing with good intentions, false resolutions and cake. My plan is to increase my general fitness and push myself with as much sports as I can and by participating smaller events and challenges that will keep me motivated up to the climb. Nothing keeps you motivated like an event deadline.”

DCS Staff Charity Music Festival
Talented staff and family members of DCS staff will be joining forces to showcase their creative sides at a local charity music festival at the Fox & Duck pub in Stotfold on Saturday 6th July from 12pm to 10.30pm. To raise money for our nominated charity Luna, a number of exciting acts including musicians, singers and bands will take to the stage with some entertaining performances.
The festival promises to be a fun packed day for families and children; with a wide range of food and craft stalls, a bouncy castle, vintage fire engine and other local businesses supporting the day’s events.
